Birthday Special: Yusuf Pathan first IPL batsman to get obstructing the field decision

Today is the birthday of Team India's best all rounder player 'Yusuf Pathan'. Born on 17 November 1982 in Vadodara, Gujarat, Yusuf is a  right-handed batsman. Yusuf is the only player to have made his World Cup debut in cricket. On 24 September 2007, Yusuf played his first international match in the final of the T20 World Cup against Pakistan. In this match, Yusuf had an opening and scored 15 runs, he also bowled an over in which he gave only 5 runs. Yusuf Pathan's younger brother Irfan Pathan has also been a player of the Indian cricket team.

Today Yusuf has turned 35. In view of Yusuf's good performance in the IPL, he was selected for the One Day Match. But at that time Yusuf could not show his performance properly and he was dropped from the match against Sri Lanka team. After this, Yusuf worked hard and then he was selected for the match against England.

In 2013, Yusuf was married to Mumbai physiotherapist Afreen. They both also have a son. Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan together have opened a cricket academy. And in this academy, former coach of Indian team Greg Chappell has given the responsibility of coaching. A record is also registered in the name of Yusuf. He is the first batsman who got out for being an obstacle in the field. Yusuf had to face this while playing against Pune Warriors in 2013.
