The British driver Lewis Hamilton made a record-equaling seventh Formula One title win after the Turkish Grand Prix win for a record-extending 94th victory today, sunday. Hamilton stands parallel to F1 great Michael Schumacher on seven titles, having replaced the German great at Mercedes in 2013.

Hamilton sixth title happened when he finished his teammate Valtteri Bottas and Bottas placed a lowly 14th after making a poor start. After the race, Hamilton broke down in tears when he spoke on the team radio few moments after crossing the line in Istanbul. British driver Lewis Hamilton finished the 58-lap race at 1:42:19. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson congratulated Hamilton on winning the Turkish Grand Prix. "An impressive victory - well done  @LewisHamilton ! You have made us all so proud," tweeted the Prime Minister. 

“That's for all the kids out there who dream the impossible," Hamilton said. "You can do it.” "When you're a kid, one or two or three seems unbelievable. What a day, it's a lot to take in. I feel like I'm only just getting started, it's really weird. I feel physically in great shape," he said on Formula 1's website. "This has been such a tough year for everybody and I hope for a better year next year. We need to be more sustainable as a sport and I want to try and be part of that for quite a bit longer," Hamiton added.He has won fourth straight race and 10th of another dominant season. Hamilton took about 30 seconds ahead of Racing Point's Sergio Perez and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who overtook teammate Charles Leclerc for his first podium of a difficult season.
