New Delhi: Many communities have protested on director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' so far and due to the repeated protest, Bhansali himself had to come forth to defend this film. Bhansali, as soon as the rumor of any kind of dream sequence was shown between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in the film, now her film is trapped in another legal battle. According to the news agency PTI, a public interest petition was filed in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court as the 'Padmavati' movie has been accused of glorifying Sati.

This movie is in the Bar of Rajputi Rani Padmini of Rajasthan, who had attempt Jauhar to save her self-esteem during the attack of Alauddin Khilji and his army. Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Rani Padmini in this movie.

According to the news agency yesterday, after hearing the petition on yesterday, the court said that it can keep its own statement before the competent authority through an appeal. This order passed by a bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Abdul Moin Kamta Prasad Singhal on a PIL filed on behalf of the petitioner. According to Virendra Mishra, an advocate of the petition, it was said in the petition that the film Malik Mohammed Joyce is based on the Padma, which finally becomes Rani Padmavati.
