Saturday, one person was killed and other wounded when a mini truck smashed with a motorcycle coming from reverse direction near village Abairani under Baldeo police station in the district, police said.
As per police report, following the accident, enraged villagers barren the road for around two hours and also dented a police vehicle.
According to police, the incident took place when the mini truck hit the motorcycle, on which two youths were going to Sadabad from Baldeo near the village.
Dy SP Surendra Yadav said, In the collision, Charan Singh (24) died on the spot while Manish got injured and is fighting for life in a private hospital,"
Demanding arrest of the driver, villagers blocked the roadand even pelted stones when police went to remove the blockade.
