Raipur: In Chhattisgarh's Durg district, there was a major collision between a bus and a hiva (truck), in which 10 people were injured. There was an outcry after the accident. The injured have been referred to Durg District Hospital after first aid at Utai Community Health Center. There has been a head-on collision between the bus and the highway. The people sitting in the cabin in front of the bus suffered more injuries. Road construction work is going on, even after this the accident happened due to speeding of vehicles. Police is probing the matter.
Utai TI Navi Monika Pandey told that the highway and the passenger bus collided near Godpedri Electricity Sub Station at around 5.15 pm on Sunday evening. Bus number CG04 DM 7863 was going from Utai towards Patan. About 30 people were on the bus. As soon as the Godpedri Electricity Sub Station approached the culvert, the driver of the empty highway KA 01 AF 7122 coming from the front at a high speed hit the bus.
At the time of the accident, the speed of both the vehicles was so fast that both the vehicles were blown up in front of them. There was outcry after the accident. After getting information about the accident, the police team also reached the spot. Passers-by and nearby villagers pulled out the driver and passengers trapped in the bus and sent them to the primary health center by ambulance.
