Cyclone Vardah hit the Tamil Nadu with the speed of 120-130kmph which had hazardous impact on the area, making landfall apart from its capital Chennai. Although, Andhra Pradesh got the similar impact over its coastal area and thousands of homes were flee.
Heavy rainfall is leading many of the people to elate from the places. According to the met forecast still, there are chances of heavy rainfall thus all the institutions will remain closed till Tuesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted to express his mourn on the case “My prayers are with all those people who are affected due to adverse weather condition caused by cyclone 'vardah'. Stay safe.” 10 people were killed in disaster.
Disaster management authority informed 4 people were died in Chennai, 2 killed in Kancheepuram, 2 in Tiruvallur, 1 in Villupuram and one in Nagapattinam. Tamil Nadu chief minister is overlooking the situation and relief distribution will be given to victims. Rs 4lakh will be given to the people who lost their family and nearby 10,000 will accompanied relief distribution.
