Kabul: There has been a tussle about peace talks in Afghanistan for a long time, but it seems that a very long struggle will have for the peace in Afghanistan. The growing stature of the terrorist organization Taliban in Afghanistan has increased the concern of the government there. More than 1,000 Afghan soldiers crossed the border on Monday morning and fled into neighboring Tajikistan to avoid clashes with Taliban militants who have been on the offensive after the withdrawal of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops from Afghanistan began.

Tajikistan, citing a statement by border authority officials, said that '1,037 Afghan soldiers crossed the border from Afghanistan's Badakhshan province to save their lives'. President Emomali Rahmon on Monday ordered the deployment of 20,000 reserve troops to the border, according to a statement released on the website of the President of Tajikistan. Tajik officials have repeatedly said that 'They will not interfere in Afghanistan's internal affairs'.

Let us tell you that in recent days, this is the third time in Tajikistan and the fifth time in two weeks there has been an exodus of Afghan soldiers. In all, about 1,600 soldiers have crossed the border so far. It is noteworthy that except one of the 28 districts of Badakhshan province, all the remaining districts have been captured by the Taliban and the provincial capital Faizabad is surrounded by Taliban fighters. People are concerned that the Taliban could enter the city at any time. In such a situation, Afghan troops have been deployed in Faizabad since Sunday night.
