Lucknow: In the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh, more than a thousand villages have been chalked out on the banks of the Ganges every day. The Uttar Pradesh government has made special preparations for this. The Yogi government has made special arrangements to conduct aarti along the Ganges in hundreds of villages of Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh government is arranging Ganga Aarti from Bijnor to Ballia.

According to the information received, the state government is going to construct 1,038 new Aarti sites. There will be Ganga Aarti at about 1100 places in the state including Kashi, Prayagraj. New Aarti sites will be built in 1038 villages situated on both sides of the Ganga under the leadership of Namami Gange Department. It has been told that in the villages situated within a distance of five kilometres on both sides of the Ganges, with the help of the tourism department, platforms will be built. Ganga Aarti will be organized on scheduled time every day on Aarti platforms.

The official spokesperson said that the government led by CM Yogi Adityanath has selected 1,038 villages on both sides of the Ganges from Bijnor to Ballia as the new Aarti Sthal, aiming to promote religious tourism. Under the scheme, the process of construction of new Aarti sites in villages situated on both sides of the 5 km stretch of Ganga from Bijnor to Ballia will be started with the help of the Tourism Department. The new Aarti places will be conducted on the basis of public participation and Ganga Aarti will be organized at the scheduled time every day.
