New Delhi: The issue of 'salary cut' is getting bigger in Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, which comes under the Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi. Since the notice of the college came in the media, the BJP has opened a front against the Kejriwal government and has blamed the 'Freebie model' of the Delhi government for this. Now the head and former head of the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) has made a big claim that this is the situation in 12 colleges of Delhi and salaries are being cut for a long time, payments are not being made on time.

DUTA Chief AK Baaghi has even said that the central government should take these colleges under its control. However, doing so may anger Kejriwal with the central government. AK Baaghi said, 'Due to the lack of funds, the salaries of teachers in 12 colleges of Delhi government are being cut for 2 years. We protested outside CM Kejriwal's residence. Went to the Deputy Chief Minister, but no one listened to us. We want these colleges to be taken over by the central government.' At the same time, former DUTA chief Rajib Ray while talking to the media said 'The salary is getting delayed due to a lack of funds. In 12 colleges including Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, teachers' salaries are being cut or delayed for the last 4 years. We have also protested for this 4-6 times in a year, But no solution came out. Medical bills are not being paid. Non-teasing staff is also facing problems.'

Let us tell you that a notice has appeared in the media from Deen Dayal Upadhyay College of Delhi University, in which it has been said that 30 to 50 thousand rupees have been withheld in the salary of Assistant Professor and Professor in July. Referring to the paucity of funds, it has been said that the remaining money will be given after the funds come in. Let us tell you that 100 per cent funding of DU, established in 1990, is done by the Delhi government. In such a situation, the question is arising, why such a situation has arisen under the rule of the Kejriwal government, which has always claimed to be in revenue plus in Delhi?
