Mumbai: A policeman on duty at a police station in Vikhroli area of Mumbai died late Tuesday due to coronavirus infection. A total of 1,388 policemen have been found corona infected so far in the state. Of these, 948 are active cases, while 428 have been cured after treatment. So far 13 policemen of Maharashtra Police have died from Corona.

Coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly in Maharashtra. By Wednesday, the number of corona infected patients has increased to 39,297 in Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, 2,250 new corona infected cases have been found in Maharashtra. On Wednesday, there have been 65 deaths due to corona in Maharashtra. The number of people who died of corona in the state has now reached 1390. On Wednesday, 679 patients in Maharashtra were discharged from hospital after recovering. So far, 10,318 patients have been recovered and discharged in the state.

The number of corona infected patients has increased to 24,118 in Mumbai. During the last 24 hours, 41 people have died from Corona in Mumbai. So far, a total of 841 patients have died from Corona in Mumbai.
