Amaravati: In Andhra Pradesh, 1,226 infected persons were cured in the 24 hours ended at 9 am on Sunday. Due to which the recovery of Covid-19 crossed the two million mark to reach 20,00,877. The bulletin said the number of active cases in the state stood at 15,110. 219 new cases were reported in Chittoor district and 164 in Krishna while less than 150 new cases were reported in the remaining 11 districts in 24 hours. East Godavari, Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam districts reported two fresh deaths, while SPS Nellore, Visakhapatnam and West Godavari reported one death each. For the first time in five months, Chittoor district did not report any Covid-19 death in a day.
