SURAT: Bhavika Maheshvari, a 13-year-old from Surat, is the talk of the town right now as she wrote a book about life lessons to be gained from Draupadi Murmu, the NDA candidate for president. The eighth-grade student Bhavika is a motivational speaker and the author of two books.

"I received an award at the Delhi-based Indian Excellence Awards. We also went to Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the NDA had only named Murmuji as its presidential candidate at the time. I was interested in learning more about her because my father had told me some stories about her. We then looked for books about her at the Daryaganj market, but neither there nor online could we locate anything. I, therefore, considered publishing a book on her so that others could learn about her. I collected all the information I could from the internet, and my father also assisted me in finding some articles and interviews about her "Bhavika said.

In just 15 days, Bhavika finished the novel "Sangharsh Se Shikhar Tak." "I used her life narrative and the happenings in it to write what I had learned. I was amazed by her life story because of her hardship and the fact that she managed to get to this point despite losing her spouse and sons. I would love to meet her one day." The Surat girl also participates in Ramkatha and speaks inspirationally at other schools.

"We collected a contribution of Rs 52 lakh from Ramkatha and donated the money," the she said. "It was given for the building of the Ram Mandir." Bhavika, who manages her schoolwork besides her writing, speeches, and other activities, claims that she and her younger brother have plenty of free time after study hours because they don't use mobile phones. She previously published a book called "Aaj Ke Bachhe, Kal Ke Bhavishya," which Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi helped to launch. In Surat, her father is the owner of several schools.
