Anupam Kher is one of the leading names in Bollywood he is quite vocal about his political choices and had several times supported the Modi Government. The actor frequently shares his views on the policies of government and he is once again in news for his latest tweet as he declares Draupadi Murmu as the Next President of India even before the results of the presidential elections.

Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, "For the past few days a sentence has been echoing in my mind again and again. Thought I'd write it today! “I Citizen of India humbly declare #DraupadiMurmu ji the President of India” Jai Hind! 

The counting of votes will be held on July 21. The BJP-led NDA's candidate appeared to be ahead of Opposition Yashwant Sinha even before the polls. Parliamentarians, lawmakers, and legislators across the country voted to elect the next President and by the time voting concluded, there were enough indications that Murmu was set to win against Sinha. Besides Anupam Kher, several other prominent political personalities also indicated Murmu’s name as the next President of India.

On the professional front, Anupam Kher wrapped the shoot of the film 'Uunchai' alongside veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan Boman Irani, and Neena Gupta.  He was last seen in 'The Kashmir Files' starring Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, and Darshan Kumaar in key roles.  Kashmir Files become one of the major hits of the year due to mouth publicity and the audience admires  Kher’s role in the movie.
