Opposition parties created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Thursday (14 December) over the issue of lapse in security of Parliament and appealed to Home Minister Amit Shah to give a statement. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha Speaker has suspended Congress members TN Prathapan, Hibi Eden, Jotimani, Ramya Haridas and Dean Kuriakose for the remaining period of the winter session on charges of creating ruckus.

Even after this the uproar did not stop and 9 more members were suspended from the winter session. These include Benny Behanan (Congress), Mohammed Javed (Congress), PR Natarajan (CPIM), Kanimozhi (DMK), VK Srikandan (Congress), K Subramaniam, SR Parthiban (DMK), S Venkatesan (CPIM) and Manickam Tagore (Congress). )'s name exists.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi has said in the Lok Sabha that we all agree that the unfortunate incident of yesterday (Wednesday, December 13) was a serious lapse in the security of Lok Sabha members and high level action has been initiated in this case on the instructions of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. . He has said about this, 'No politics is expected from any member on this issue, we have to work above party politics. Such incidents of security lapses in Parliament have been happening in the past too and the proceedings have been conducted as per the instructions of the then Lok Sabha Speakers.' On the suspension of MPs, JDU President Lalan Singh has said that the MPs have been suspended today to hide the failure of the government. The government is hiding its failure.

Derek O'Brien suspended: Before which Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Derek O'Brien has been suspended from Rajya Sabha. MPs from opposition parties created a ruckus in the Rajya Sabha regarding his suspension. After this, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 3 o'clock. After this, the proceedings of the House have been adjourned again till 4 o'clock. 

Opposition's demand:  This morning, before the start of the winter session of Parliament, a meeting of opposition parties was organized to discuss the future strategy. After this meeting, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh wrote on Twitter, 'India's parties are demanding: 1. The Home Minister should give a detailed statement in both the houses on the very serious and dangerous security lapse that took place in the Parliament yesterday. And after that there should be discussion on it.'' Regarding this, he has further said that, 'Strict action should be taken against BJP MP Pratap Simha, who provided visitor passes to the infiltrators. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned this morning due to the Modi government's refusal to accept these completely legitimate and reasonable demands.'
