Lucknow: The death toll in the bus accident in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh has risen to 15. It is being told that all the deceased were residents of Uttar Pradesh. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over this horrific accident and has announced financial assistance of two lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased. At the same time, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also expressed grief over this accident. CM Shivraj has said that the government will bear the entire cost of the treatment of the injured in the accident.

CM Yogi tweeted and wrote, 'The loss of life in a road accident in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh is very sad. Praying to Lord Shri Ram to give place to the departed souls at his feet and speedy recovery to the injured. My condolences are with the bereaved families.' In another tweet, CM Yogi wrote, 'Talks have been held with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for proper treatment of the injured and for transporting the mortal remains of the deceased residents of Uttar Pradesh to the state. Instructions have been given to provide assistance of Rs 2-2 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50-50 thousand to the seriously injured.

At the same time, CM Chouhan has written that 'The sad news was received about the accident of a passenger bus going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur in Rewa. I pay my tributes to the departed souls in this extremely heartbreaking incident. Peace. I pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured. Om Shanti.'
