Srinagar: On Friday, in Kashmir Valley, massive violent erupted after a 15-year-old boy died in police firing in Jammu and Kashmir's Harwan town In the last evening as the security forces used pellet guns on protesting crowds in Harwan, during which Momin Altaf was killed.

Late on Friday night, the body of Momin Altaf was found with pellet injuries. A large number of people gathered for his funeral prayers this morning.

According to security forces, “they had fired pellets from a distance and it should not have led to his death.”

Protests commenced in Kashmir, ever since 22-year-old Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani was killed by security forces on July 8.
