Daily new Covid-19 infections in India have seen below 20,000 for the first time this month, with 19,079 new Covid-19 cases a day on Saturday. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry in the morning, now the coronavirus caseload in the country has increased to 10,305,788, while the number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 9.9 million. The number of those who died with 224 new deaths has increased to 1,49,218.
The number of people recovering from the disease rose to 99,06,387, which increases the national recovery rate to 96.12 percent, while the coronavirus case mortality rate is 1.45%. Coronavirus active caseload remained below 3 lakh for the 11th consecutive day. There are 2,50,183 active cases of Covid-19 infection in the country, including 2.43% of the total caseload.
As per the information received, a dry run for coronavirus vaccination has been started today to test the relationship and identify challenges during the administration, planning and implementation of all states and union territories. A proposal has been issued to organize the activity in at least 3 sites in all state capitals. The Union Health Ministry has said that some states will also include such districts, which are located in difficult terrain. While Maharashtra and Kerala are expected to run dry runs in other major cities besides their capital.
