Surat: Donation is considered to be the greatest virtue, and organ donation is considered to be the greatest donation. A person's organ donation can save many lives. In Surat, Gujarat, 7 persons have got a new life from the organ donation made by a two and a half year old child, Jash Oza. The organ donation also gave life to 7 people who were dead.

A two and a half year old child in Surat, Gujarat, fall from a height. After which he was immediately taken to the hospital but the doctors declared him brain dead. His parents were shocked after the doctors declared the Jash as brain dead. Then Nilesh Mandlewala of Donate Life, a social activist institution of Surat, met the family of Jash and asked them to donate organs.

After that, the family of Jash Oza decided to donate their child's organs. Then the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and eyes were donated. Seven persons got a new life due to the organs donated by the Jash. The heart and lungs of Jash were brought to MGM Hospital in Chennai through the green corridor from Surat. There is a distance of 1,615 kilometres between Chennai and Surat which was covered in just 160 minutes. It may be recalled that Jash Oza's heart has been donated to a 4-year-old child in Russia and his lungs to a 4-year-old child in Ukraine. Jash is alive in 7 persons today with his kidneys, liver and eyes. Even if he is not in this world, he will always be alive in the people who have had a new life.
