The case that has come to light recently is from Rishikesh. In this case, two brothers from Rishikesh Kotwali area have been accused of entering the woman's house and tore her clothes, abused and thrashed her. The police have lodged a case against the alleged brothers on the complaint of the woman. 

The accused had entered her house at 10 a.m. with about a dozen people. Then they locked up the husband and son in the room and entered into her room and abused her," the complainant further added that she was beaten up and accused also ripped off her clothes when she protested."
