New Delhi: Today is the seven years of the Modi government. In such a situation, the Congress has taken a dig. In fact, recently, the Congress has slammed the failures of the government on the completion of seven years of the Modi government, terming it as harmful to India. At the same time, the Congress has said that "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ruined the country in the last seven years and the people are suffering their failures.''

In fact, Congress Communications Department Chief Randeep Singh Surjewala, while addressing reporters on the completion of two years of the second term of the Modi government, said, "In seven years of Modi rule, the economy has become a pit system. The Modi regime has destroyed the progress that the country has made in the last seven decades in seven years. The Modi government has not only destroyed the economy but unemployment has increased tremendously and has reached the highest level in the country in 45 years. Inflation has reached its peak under the Modi regime. Inflation has broken the back of the people and there is a hue and cry all around. Food prices are skyrocketing. Petrol has crossed Rs.100 litres and mustard oil has crossed Rs.200 per litre. In 2014, when the Modi government came to power, petrol was selling at around Rs 71 and diesel at 55 per litre, but today petrol has gone up to Rs 102 and diesel to Rs 94. Lpg prices have also gone up sharply.''

At the same time, he also cornered the government on the issue of farmers and said, "This government is arrogant and has also attacked the annadata of the country. Mr Modi had come to power promising 50 per cent of the cost of his crop to the farmer, but after the formation of the government, he attacked the farmers instead of fulfilling their promises and passed anti-farmer laws in Parliament.''
