The nation is in a state of National Health Emergency after the cases of coronavirus have gushed in. Amid such a horrific situation 20 patients escaped from a Covid care centre. Yes, according to information received duping the authorities of care center people has run away from Narendra Nagar here. 

The officials said that the matter came in light after the doctors reported for their duties and round on Sunday. Chief Medical Superintendent Niraj Rai said when doctors visited the wards at the center on Saturday night for a regular check-up patients were missing. Around 38 people were given treatment here out of which 20 were found missing. According to the records, two who escaped belonged to Uttarakhand while the rest were from outside the state. The people other than those two belonged to Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Haryana. Narendra Nagar SHO Shanti Prasad Dimri seeing the current situation said that a case will be filed against the missing patients under the Disaster Management and Epidemic Diseases Acts and a search has already been launched for them. 

Adequate police personnel have been deployed at the care centre following the incident.
