Brazil is making its way clearer as it tops the World Cup Qualifier table for South America. On Tuesday the Latin American team registered a 2-0 win against Venezuela. Goal scorers were Manchester City’s teenage player Gabriel Jesus and Chelsea’s Willian. These two striked and made the lead to a consecutive fourth victory.

During the game, floodlights failed and made the Merida's Estadio Metropolitano totally dark. This caused a long delay in the match. This performance by the 5 time world cup winner reassures us that they will make it through this qualifier and maintain their record of standing on the top.

Whereas Argentina faced a radical change that resulted in a defeat from the neighbouring nation Paraguay by 1-0.
