The 2019 BMW X7 was introduced in India this year and will be positioned on top of the company's latest X5. The model shares a lot of features from the 7 Series, such as the same CLAR architecture platform and comfort features. Let's know the full details

The German carmaker is the company's 2019 BMW X7 flagship SUV and will be the company's biggest SUV ever. The X7 comes with wide, heavy stenos and powerful petrol and diesel engines. The SUV will also be an entry in the luxury full-size SUV segment and will rival the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7, Range Rover, Lexus LX and so on in India. The prices will be very competitive. We expect the BMW X7 to start at Rs 90 lakh and go up to Rs 1.25 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV is being built in Spartanburg, USA, and will be assembled in BMW's Chennai facility in India with ACKD.

If you talk about the design of this car, it will be quite large in proportion and will dominate its presence. It will also have a large kidney grille. The X7 will also have three-row seats and a fully 7-seater SUV. In terms of interior, the BMW X7's dashboard layout is shared by the 7 Series, which looks quite well-appointed and driver-centric. In terms of features, it will feature a new 12.3-inch dual screen for instrument consoles and infotainment systems. It will feature new-generation iDrive units, gestour control, wireless charging, herman audio systems, BMW intelligence personal assistants, and more. Its seats will get good space in the second and third row with upholstery in the leather. The new X7 comes with a powerful engine. The BMW XDrive 40i comes with a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol motor producing 335bhp and 450Nm of torque. The X7 xDrive M50d also gets a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine producing 394bhp and 760Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to an 8-speed steptronic automatic transmission and will power the four wheels.
