For international markets, MV Agusta has introduced the freshly revised 2022 F3 RR sports bike. The sports bike has gained a number of changes over its predecessor, including revised aerodynamics based on the company's Moto2 race bikes.
It now has aerodynamic winglets that are incorporated into the sports bike's front fairing. The addition of the additional winglets, according to the manufacturer, allows the bike to generate an 8kg load on the front end at 240 kmph. In addition, the bike will be available in new color combinations, including Surreal White Gloss/Mamba Red Gloss and Fire Red Matte/Metallic Dark Grey Matte.
The bike now features an inertia measuring unit (IMU), cornering ABS, cruise control, eight-level traction control, launch control, and ABS with rear-wheel lift-up mitigation, in addition to a new pair of winglets. A Bluetooth-enabled 5.5-inch color TFT display has also been fitted to the bike, allowing the rider to access GPS, navigation, and app-controlled engine and rider assistance.
The motorbike features the same 798cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed transmission. At 13,000rpm, the engine produces 145bhp and 88Nm of peak torque at 10,100rpm.
The bike also comes with an optional Racing Kit that includes a new Akrapovic exhaust system and an ECU with a racing map. According to the manufacturer, this upgrade would increase the bike's maximum power output to 153bhp.
According to current exchange rates, the new F3 RR starts at 21,900 euros, which equals to Rs. 18.96 lakh. The motorcycle is also expected to launch in India in the first half of 2021.
