Lucknow: All kinds of strictures are being taken in Uttar Pradesh's three-tier panchayat elections. A search operation is also being carried out by the police. Noida Police has achieved great success in the same episode on Monday. Police have recovered Rs 25 lakh cash during a search from a car. The police have informed the Income Tax Department of this matter. The income tax department team is now taking advance action on the cash.

In view of the upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections, search operations are underway in all police station areas to check illegal liquor and other banned material to influence the elections. On Monday, the police of station Kasna stopped a suspicious vehicle at Kasna Sirsa cut of Eastern peripheral located in the Kasna police station area. The car was checked. During the search, a cash of Rs 25 lakh was recovered from the trunk of the vehicle. The amount was wrapped in paper.

When the police questioned the occupants of the car to enquire about the amount, no one could give a clear answer, after which the police seized the money and informed the Income Tax Department. Police have named the occupants of the car as Rohit Garg's son Sunil Kumar Garg resident D-199 Sector P-3 Greater Noida, Mridul Garg son Devendra Garg resident D-199 Sector P-3 Greater Noida, Vivek Garg son Sunil Garg resident D-199 Sector P-3 Greater Noida, and Devendra Garg son Omprakash Garg resident D-199 Sector P-3 Greater Noida.
