Lucknow: Addressingentrepreneurs at the third ground breaking ceremony on Friday, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has said that their investments will be safe in Uttar Pradesh and the state government will provide them protection in every way. Proposals have been received in the ceremony to take forward new projects at a cost of 80 thousand crore rupees. It will generate 5 lakh direct jobs in more than 1400 schemes like data, IT, agriculture, handloom, MSME etc. At the same time, 20 lakh indirect employment opportunities will be created.
CM Yogi further said that in the last five years, the UP government has adopted the mantra of PM Narendra Modi. Following PM Modi's mantra of Reform, Perform and Transform, in five years, UP is moving fast towards becoming the second largest economy by moving ahead of the sixth economy of the country. CM Yogi said that UP is second in terms of ease of doing business. In the recent Leeds-20-21 report, the state has got a commendable lead in seven places.
CM Yogi said that UP has effectively increased exports from Rs 88,000 crore to Rs 1.56 lakh crore through a scheme like ODOP, increasing the traditional industry. UP had implemented the Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy in 2017. We have worked to take forward the investment friendly 20 sectoral policy as Make in India.
