Mumbai: Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh while speaking to the media on Saturday said that the state government will talk with the Center on the extradition process of Tahawwur Rana. It is noteworthy that America has again arrested Rana in connection with 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

India has declared Tahawwur Rana as a fugitive. Anil Deshmukh said that Pakistani-American terrorist David Coleman Headley had informed the investigators that he had worked as an agent of Tahawwur Rana for the 26/11 attacks. He further said, 'We will talk for the extradition of Tahawwur Rana to senior police officers in Maharashtra and at the Center level.'

Tahawwur Rana was recently released from prison on humanitarian grounds, as he had informed the US court that he is suffering from Coronavirus infection, but has been arrested again by the Los Angeles Police. A special court in India has issued an arrest warrant against Rana on August 28, 2018. It is being told that Tahawwur Rana can now be brought to India soon.
