Lucknow: Rains have been lashing Uttar Pradesh for the last five days. In the last 24 hours, about 27 people have died in accidents due to rain. Not only this, but due to heavy rains here, farmers have also suffered a lot. In fact, thousands of bighas of crops have been damaged and farmers are now upset. On the other hand, if we look at the forecast of the Meteorological Department, a red alert of heavy rains has been issued in five districts today i.e. on Monday. Along with this, heavy rain warning has also been issued for 25 districts.

At the same time, in view of the rain of disaster across the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued an advisory and announced immediate assistance to the officials to reach the spot and provide relief and rescue. A 58-year-old woman was crushed to death after a raw wall collapsed due to incessant rains in Mainpuri. In Barabanki, two people died and one was seriously injured after being hit by a tree that fell due to rain. In Aligarh, a 55-year-old farmer, Lalaram, died after being hit by a house that collapsed due to heavy rains. In Badaun too, a middle-aged Raghunath died after a wall collapsed. In Bulandshahr, a teenager and a woman died and 14 others, including four children, were injured in a house collapse.

At the same time, four people, including a child, lost their lives due to lightning and a wall collapse in Pilibhit, Badaun and Shahjahanpur. Apart from all these, there have been many deaths due to lightning. In view of the excessive rainfall in the state, CM Yogi Adityanath has given special instructions. CM Yogi has asked the District Magistrates of the districts affected by excessive rains that the problem of waterlogging caused by heavy rains should be resolved immediately. The district administration should immediately remove the problem of waterlogging by installing machinery and pumps and the administration should immediately reach out to the loss of life and money and provide assistance. With this, schools will remain closed in many districts today in view of the heavy rains.
