Corona: Death toll rising in Indore, positive patients are decreasing

The number of corona patients is decreasing in the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh which is news of relief. But the death toll is becoming a matter of concern. The number of corona-positive patients in the city remained low for the fifth consecutive day. Out of the sample of 1619 suspected patients examined on Saturday, 27 positives have come. Three of these patients are also from the MIG police station area. Including these patients, the total number of positive patients has reached 3740. After the death of three patients was confirmed, this figure reached 156. For the last 15 days, the number of patients has been decreasing, but the death toll is constantly increasing.

In this regard, CMHO in-charge Dr. MP Sharma said that on Saturday, the highest 2462 samples have reached for investigation. A total of 44,446 patients have been screened so far. As of Saturday, 2390 patients have gone to their homes, while 1203 patients are being treated in hospitals.

Every day Corona-infected patients from Indore city are recovering and reaching home. 57 patients have been discharged from three hospitals and gone home on Saturday. These include 31 from Index Medical College, 25 from Aurobindo Hospital and one from Choithram Hospital. All of them thanked the doctors for better treatment and attention. Including these patients, 2390 patients have been discharged from the city's hospitals so far. The patients who were discharged on Saturday included patients from other areas including Mahant Complex Malharganj, Khajrana, Malwa Mill, Rustom ka baghicha, Juna Risala, Azad Nagar.
