Vietnam: Around the world, many countries suffer from coronavirus infection. At the same time, the Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar has started an alert for high mortality risk of dengue fever infection. According to the ministry's data, Myanmar has reported 2,862 dengue fever infection cases with 20 deaths, up to 27 June.

Twenty cities across the state recorded the highest infection rate with 1,069 cases and 12 deaths. Regularly, the Sagging area reported the highest number of infections of mosquito-borne disease, followed by the mandibular region and Mon State respectively.

The department said that preventive measures have been taken against common monsoon diseases, including vector-borne diseases since the beginning of April. Myanmar has sent 24,345 dengue fever infection cases with at least 100 deaths last year. Dengue fever is spread by Aedes mosquito bites and occurs in most of the rainy months.
