Team India eye set when they clash for the eight-time head to head against Black Caps. The last time when this two giant of the game meets it was the one-side game victory over the visitor which keep the host their confidence high. Men in blue registered their first major win against Kiwis in a glorious fashion. India picks up the comprehensive 53-run victory in the series opener at Delhi has put the host firmly in the position to register a winning 2-0 lead at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium here in Kandheri.

It was the Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, who put up huge partnership against Kiwis, which was outstanding staff from both of Indians openers.

Dhawan and Sharma put on a record 158-run partnership that went into the 16th over to ensure that India ended up with a plus-200 total despite a brief wobble towards the end.

The Black Caps' new ball attack of Trent Boult and Tim Southee lacked discipline in Delhi which we had witnessed in the last game. For the Blackcaps it will be their hope to bounce back in the series as they registered a win in this game. It's a bit of a surprise that these two experienced Kiwi bowlers have been ineffective with yorkers at the death overs, unlike the Indian two specialist of all time, Bumrah, and Bhuvneshwar.
