Today is World Cocktail Day and this means that you can enjoy cocktails in the mid-week. While you can drink vodka and rum. It is usually reserved solely for gin and tonic by many amateur home bartenders, here today we are telling you three easy cocktails that you can make.
Negroni:
Let's start with the classic Italian cocktail, which requires only three ingredients. If you are not counting snow. If you like the right mix of bitter and sweet in your cocktail, then this would be perfect for you.
For this you will need:
30ml gin
30ml Aperol
30ml sweet, red vermouth
Twist of orange
ice

Gimlet:
Getty Images Gimlet is another cocktail classic and slightly sweet in taste if you find Nigroni to be overwhelmingly bitter. If you love citrus-y cocktails then this is similar to gin sour.
You will need:
60ml gin
60ml Juicy Lemon
30 grams coaster sugar
Pieces of ice
How to make it: The hardest part of this cocktail is those lemon juice, but once it is done, pour it with gin, sugar and ice into a cocktail mixer and then into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon slice.
Also, the side note is: If you want to add foam on top of the drink, then add an egg white before stirring the mixture.
Gin Fizz:
This is Geen Fizz which is as confusing as the Tom Collins cocktail. If you want some light or you have run out of tonic water again, this is the perfect cocktail.
You will need:
60ml gin
30 ml juice lemon,
20 grams castor sugar
Sparkling water.
Pieces of ice
A slice of lemon
How to make it: Mix gin, lemon juice and castor sugar till the sugar dissolves. Pour this solution in a glass, with sparkling water over it and add a piece of lemon to garnish.
