Nagpur: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a bribery case against three Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) officers in Nagpur, Maharashtra. These people are accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 1 lakh each from the petrol pump operator. The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested the officers red handed while taking bribe.

This case has been registered against NP Rodge, General Manager, Retail Sales Department, Manish Nandle, Chief Manager, Sunil Golar, Sales Manager of Gondia area. These three officers had demanded money from the two petrol pump operators of Gondia for the ownership transfer. The operator complained about this to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Nagpur Unit, after which the Central Bureau of Investigation laid a trap and arrested them red-handed taking bribe.

For your information, let us tell you that recently in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, a PWD engineer was caught taking a bribe from a contractor. Thereafter, the ACB team raided his house. During the search, more than Rs 27 lakh and gold were seized from the locker of the PWD engineer.
