The left wing extremists (LWE) and the security forces were involved in exchange of fires following which three red rebels including a woman cadre were killed while a jawan was reportedly injured in the neighbour state Chhattisgarh today.
Reports said that the development took place in Kanker district of Bastar area infamous for being the accumulation of the naxalites activity. Reports also said that the anti-Mao special security forces have seized arms and ammunition from the spot of combing operation.
The operation was continuing as well as the exchange of fire from both the sides was on for a prolonged period. The developed results are awaited.
