Jaipur: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested one person in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and two in Churu for taking bribe. Sudhir Joshi, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Chittorgarh of the Bureau, has told that in the Chittorgarh district, the development officer of Gangrar Panchayat Samiti accused Roop Singh Gurjar, in lieu of not relieving the complainant Anil Kumar Yadav, and asked for a bribe of 1 lakh. 

He has told that the accused development officer Roop Singh Gurjar has been arrested red-handed, with a bribe amount of fifty thousand rupees, on Thursday as an intimation from the complainant technical assistant Anil Kumar Yadav. The amount of bribe has been recovered from the cupboard kept in the official residence of the accused. While giving information, Additional Superintendent of Police, Churu, Anand Prakash Swamy, told that accused Virpal Singh, development officer of Rajgarh Panchayat Samiti of Churu and Surendra Nehra, village development officer of Khuddi, from former sarpanch Kalyan Singh, a complainant, in Khud Village Gram Panchayat In return for paying the development works done, they had asked for one lakh twenty-seven thousand rupees according to the commission of five percent.

He said that both the accused have been arrested after the development officer Virpal Singh got the amount demanded from the complainant and the village servant on Thursday.
