Lucknow: 30 PCS officers of Uttar Pradesh will soon become IAS. For this, DPC will be held on 16 September in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The proposal will be made to promote PCS officers of batches 1998, 1999, and 2000 in DPC. During this period, the promotion of officers with investigation or departmental action is likely to remain pending.
Till the selection year 2018-2019 in Uttar Pradesh, 23 PCS officers have got a promotion to the post of IAS officer corresponding to 25 vacancies. The letter was conveyed to the Central Government to notify the vacancies of the selection year 2020. Union Public Service Commission has given time for DPC as soon as the vacancies are notified.

Ashok Kumar, Gaurav Verma, Mahendra Prasad, Rajneesh Chandra of 1998 batch, Uday Singh, Arun Kumar II of 1999 batch, Sanjay Chauhan, Santosh Kumar Sharma, Harikesh Chaurasia, Sunil Kumar Chaudhary, Ravindra Pal Singh, Sriprakash Gupta, Pawan Kumar Gangwar, Prathunath, Mahendra Singh, Manoj Kumar Rai, Nidhi Srivastava, Kumar Vineet, Dhananjay Shukla, Ramesh Chandra, Kamta Prasad Singh, Vandana Tripathi, Rajesh Kumar Prajapati, Manju Lata, Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri, Kapil Singh of the year 2000 batch.
