In a few days, LPG prices have seen a steep rise. And which has a direct bearing on the common man's pockets. Figures show that the price of domestic LPG cylinders (14.2kg) doubled in 7 years. In most of the states of the country, about Rs. 800 is going to be spent for one cylinder. However, there is also relaxing news among these worrying reports.

The central government has recently increased the subsidy on domestic LPG cylinders (14.2 kg). "So far, domestic LPG was given Rs 153.86 to customers on one cylinder, which has been increased to Rs 291.48. Similarly, under the PM Ujjwala Yojana, a subsidy of Rs. 174.86 was available on one cylinder, which has been increased to Rs. 312.48. That means, if we get the subsidy, one cylinder in LPG is going to be of Rs. 300.'' To get LPG Subsidy, it is necessary to link the bank account and LPG connection to Aadhaar. Thereafter, the government transfers the amount of subsidy directly to the account. First check whether LPG Subsidy is coming into account, if not coming, find out the reason and take advantage of it.

It is also being said that the opposition is being agitated over the prices of LPG. It is alleged that the price of LPG has doubled in 7 years. On March 1, 2014, LPG cylinders (14.2 kg) were priced at Rs 410.5 per cylinder, which has now reached Rs 819 per cylinder. The main thing is that even after which the sale of domestic LPG is increasing year-on-year. The period April 2020 to February 2021 has grown by 10.3 percent over the same period a year ago.
