A scooterist died in the North Goa's beach village of Anjuna, after ramming into a car owned by Bollywood actress Zareen Khan, police stated on Wednesday. The mishap occurred late on Wednesday, when the deceased Nitesh Goral who is 31 year old  and a resident of Mapusa, a nearby town, rammed his scooter into the car, before falling off.

He afterward died due to head injuries at the Asilo Hospital in Mapusa. The actor, as well as her driver Ali Abbas, was present in the car when the accident happened police stated. "We are investigating the incident," a police officer associated to the Anjuna police station told reporters here.

For those who don’t know Zareen Khan has acted in films like Hate Story 3, Housefull 2, Veer.

An officer from Anjuna police station told Mumbai Mirror that the actress was in an Innova and the driver was taking a U-turn when the accident occurred. He also added that The car’s occupants also sustained minor injuries. Further inquiries will be done on the basis of CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts.

Reports suggested that a case of negligent driving has been filed against the actress' driver Ali Abbas.. However the actresses’ rep stated that her car was parked when the accident happened and the was not wearing a helmet and after the incident also the actress took the man to the hospital.
