Corona is wreaking havoc in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. Day by day cases are coming forward. 12 new cases of corona infection were reported in Ujjain district on Sunday night. The number of positive patients has now increased to 341. Another death from corona infection has been confirmed. A 59-year-old man living in the Avantipura area died on Saturday. The report that came out on Sunday night turned positive. The number of those who lost their lives to the infection has reached 48.

However, in new cases, two Badnagar and one patient each are from village Gawadi and Mahidpur in Tarana Tehsil. The rest belong to the city of Ujjain. All have been brought to the hospital. In the report revealed on Sunday night, infection has also been confirmed in some new areas which is worrying. These include Bheru Nala area of Ujjain city, Sant Nagar, Gawadi village of Tarana, Munshi Raja's hamlet and Vallabhbhai tract area of Mahidpur. All these areas have been sealed. Samples of patients' relatives are being taken.

On Sunday, 18 more patients were discharged from the hospital. They included a four-year-old boy. The officers all clapped and welcomed. So far 166 patients have reached home by beating Corona in the district. The recovery rate here is also above 50 percent.
