New Delhi: In view of the nationwide crisis of Coronavirus infection, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to extend the lockdown by 31 May. The central government has issued guidelines for the fourth phase of the lockdown. In Lockdown 4.0, the central government has given more powers to the states, which non-BJP ruled states were constantly demanding.

Devasthanam Board Act may be amended

The state governments will now be able to decide what the status and nature of the lockdown will be. States will also have the right to divide a particular area into different zones. States will be given the responsibility to follow the rules of lockdown. This time two new content zones and buffer zones have also been added by the center. But the state government will be responsible for determining their area.

Government sent proposal of 244 crore financial assistance to Gadkari

The central government has divided the entire country into 5 zones. Till now only 3 zones were created in the country. Red, Green and Orange zones, now two new zones have been created with it. These zones are buffer and containment zones. What rules will be adopted regarding the buffer zone so far, information has not been given. Only compulsory services will be available in the Containment Zone.
