Patna: In Bihar on Friday, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha has received a major setback. Even before merging into Janata Dal-United (JDU), 35 leaders including RLSP executive state president Virendra Kushwaha, general secretary Nirmal Kushwaha have joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). These leaders took the membership of the party in the RJD office at the hands of Tejashwi Yadav.
Tejashwi looked extremely happy while joining RLSP leaders in RJD, Tejashwi said in a funny tone that these leaders have merged the entire party into RJD by removing Upendra Kushwaha from RLSP. Tejashwi further said that the party will get stronger by the coming of these comrades to the RJD. He further said that earlier in the assembly elections, the then RLSP state president Bhudev Chaudhary had also joined the RJD.
Tejashwi Yadav also targeted Upendra Kushwaha for his old statements. Tejashwi Yadav said that Kushwaha used to say earlier that if you have a friend like Nitish Kumar, then there is no need for an enemy. Now perhaps Kushwaha Ji has forgotten these things. Virendra Kushwaha, who came to RJD leaving RLSP, said that RLSP was formed to remove Nitish Kumar from power. With this resolve, we had made resolutions for people going from village to village, but now Upendra Kushwaha has made up his mind to forget these resolutions and go with Nitish Kumar. He said that now it is his resolve to remove Nitish Kumar from power under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav.
