Kolkata: In West Bengal, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Dilip Ghosh has told that 3800 activists of various political parties have joined BJP during a rally in Asansol on December 21, 2020. Two legislators and a TMC MP, including Suvendu Adhikari, had joined the BJP at a rally held in Midnapore 2 days ago, in the presence of former BJP President and current Home Minister Amit Shah. Dilip Ghosh gave information about this by tweeting.

Ghosh wrote in his tweet, "3800 activists from various parties joined the BJP family in a rally held at Raniganj in Asansol organization district. We welcome all of you to the largest political party in the world. Together we will build Sonar Bangla. ” Ahead of the 2021 assembly elections in April-May, TMC and BJP are in direct competition in the state, where Trinamool is facing allegations of intimidating BJP workers through violence and threats.

Jitendra Tiwari, MLA of Pandeshwar took Uteron on his resignation letter. It is being told that the BJP does not want to involve anyone, hence their entry was closed. Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Babul Supriyo is an MP from Asansol from where Jitendra Tiwari is elected. Babul Supriyo said that he will not allow any such leader, whose history is full of harassing BJP workers.
