38th foundation day of BJP: "only lotus visible in every corner of India," says Amit Shah

Maharashtra BJP chief Ashish Shelar welcomed BJP chief Amit Shah to the foundation day event in Mumbai. This was followed by the release of two books, one of which was on the farmer situation in Maharashtra as First Post reported. Amit Shah reached BKC venue to address the mega rally on the 38 th foundation day of BJP.

In his address, Shah asserted that Countdown for 2019 has begun.

"Narendra Modi is the world's most popular prime minister. BJP workers should spread the word about Modi government's works, and set the stage for 2019 Lok Sabha election." BJP chief Amit Shah encouraged party cadres in Mumbai.

Training a gun at Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Shah said, "When we lost two Lok Sabha seats recently Rahul Gandhi distributed sweets. He is the first leader I've seen who would do this."

"Today, 20 states are ruled by BJP. This is a thing of joy for the party," he added.

"Today the party's foundation was laid. Therefore, I whole-heartedly want to wish all party workers. BJP has lost most number of workers in this country. Under Narendra Modi's rule, only lotus visible in every corner of India," said Amit Shah

Amit Shah lashed out at Congress as it raised questions on Narendra Modi-led-Govt- over four and a half years of rule.

Shah answered and said that the people of the country are questioning on Congress' rule of four generations.

He took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and said, “ Rahul baba you question our intentions. The farmers of the country were tired of asking for the proper price under Congress' rule. Modi government has planned to compensate farmers with 1.5 times the price of their crop”.
