Terrorist threw grenade at Indian Army in Anantnag, 4 soldiers injured

Srinagar: Another incident of attack on the army in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir has come to light. The terrorists have carried out grenade attacks on security personnel. Officials said that four soldiers were injured when militants hurled grenades at an army road opening party (ROP) in Anantnag district of South Kashmir on Wednesday morning.

The injured soldiers have been admitted to 92 base hospital in Srinagar after providing first aid. The army said that the attack occurred when the army was conducting a military drill in the general area of Shamsipura in Khanbal, Anantnag. In this attack, the soldiers who were there were firing in retaliation. However, the attackers escaped. Additional forces have been brought to nab the attackers. The entire area has been closed and an operation has been initiated.

Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir are not naming their nefarious movements. Earlier on Wednesday, the militants once again attacked the security forces. In Jammu and Kashmir, militants opened fire on security forces in Kulgam in which 2 soldiers were injured. Both the injured soldiers have been shifted to the nearest hospital.
