Patna: Due to the survey of the second phase of caste census in Bihar, a shocking incident has come to the fore. Roopchand is the husband of 40 women in an area of Arwal. The surprising thing is that when the caste census workers tried to find out about Roopchand, no news was received about him. No one knows where they are. Knowing this, even the caste enumerators got confused.

Due to the caste census in ward number 7 of Arwal city, a shocking thing has come to light. Due to the caste census, 40 women of this ward declared their husband's name as Roopchand. But the local people have no idea who Roopchand is. It is being said that there is a red light area in this ward. The women here live their lives by dancing and singing. In order to hide their identity, these women have taken the name of only one person as husband due to calculation. Some women have also got their son's name written as Roopchand. Enumerators and supervisors have lost their senses after this type of incident reached before the officials. Now the matter is being discussed on how to improve it.

Enumerator Rajeev Ranjan Rakesh, who came to do caste enumeration, told that on asking, most of the women have told the name of their husband, father and son as Roopchand. However, when information was collected about it, no person named Roopchand was found. Due to which it is suspected that women have used fake names. In this connection, Executive Officer of Municipal Council Dinesh Puri said that after the matter came to the notice, guidance is being sought from the senior official in this regard. Further action will be taken on the basis of that.
