West Godavari Andhra Pradesh: Recently a youth smuggling liquor from Jilugumilli village in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh has been arrested. Indeed, 4,275 bottles of liquor were being sent from a neighboring state of Telangana in a car here. Its price has been stated to be around 20 lakh rupees. In such a situation, the police recently said that 'a person has been arrested and sent on remand in the illegal liquor smuggling case'.
An additional Superintendent of Police, Karimullah Sharif, said, "On the basis of a secret information, Sub-Inspector Vishwanath and his team were conducting a vehicle checking operation at the Jillugumilli check post." Upon examining a particular vehicle, 4,275 bottles of liquor were seized, of which 4,016 are quarter bottles, and 216 bottles are 750 ml, while 43 are one-liter bottles. Sharif said, "The total value of seized goods in Telangana is Rs 7.5 lakhs, the value of goods seized from Andhra Pradesh is around Rs 20 lakhs. One accused has been sent on remand."

By the way, in the Chaukodi area of Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, the police had found the liquor of illicit liquor.
