New Delhi: In the national capital Delhi, a doctor died of corona on Wednesday amidst ever-increasing cases of corona. 45-year-old Srimanta Sahu was a senior doctor at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi. He had a viral infection about two weeks ago. According to sources, later his health deteriorated further, due to which he had to shift to a ventilator.

According to media reports, Srimanta Sahu died from Corona at 10 am on Wednesday. The doctor of Manipal Hospital in Dwarka told that we tried a lot to save them, but we could not save him. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital has organized a condolence meeting on Thursday, where all the staff of the hospital will pay homage to Srimanta Sahu. A doctor who worked with Srimanta Sahu said that it is very unfortunate that he is no longer among us.

In the last 9 months, so far 650 doctors in the country have died from the corona. IMA member Dr Vinay Aggarwal said that 30 doctors have died from Corona in Delhi alone. Some time ago a 28-year-old doctor has died in Delhi from Corona. Apart from doctors, many more people including nurses working in the medical field have also died from Corona.
