We are celebrating Navratri these days. It is one of India’s most cherished Festivals. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm in India and is regarded as the start of the Hindu New Year in India.
 
The nine-day festival of Navratri dedicated to Mother Goddess Durga is just around the corner. During these nine days, devotees keep a fast after performing the Ghatasthapana or Kalash Sthapana on the first day, i.e. Pratipada. The Shardiya Navratri in the Hindu month of Ashwin is the most important and significant of all Navratris (Magha, Chaitra and Ashadha).  Navratri is an auspicious festival, several people fast during the nine days.  Do you know there is the significance of color, In Navratri it is said that some color hold certain importance for a particular day in Navratri. Several people keep fast on nine days of Navratri. It is not easy to stay energetic during fast. So here is the list of 5 drinks which keeps you energetic during Fast.

Orange and Lemon Drink: Orange Juice is very health and it keeps you energetic. A wonderfully classic homemade lemonade can be made by adding freshly squeezed orange juice and orange slices. The sour-sweet taste of this drink also aids in digestion. The aroma of orange and lemon gives it a more wonderful aroma and taste. This drink also happens to be rich in antioxidants.

Tea:  Switch your regular tea with a  cup of green tea. As it  is always recommended. Chill the green tea and add some lemon, honey and freshly squeezed ginger juice. Garnish it with sprigs of mint leaves.  Ginger helps you to stay energetic.

Coffee and Orange Juice: The combination look weird but try this it is healthy. Pour freshly squeezed orange juice into a glass, top this with soda and load it with ice. Stir some date syrup, honey into a shot of hot coffee/expresso. Pour the sweetened coffee shot over the ice cubes and your unique drink is ready.

Jaggery Drink: Jaggery has certain qualities that helps you to stay healthy. Use jaggery powdered and dissolved in lots of water. Boil it and then chill it. This is a super hydrating drink that also has strong immuno-boosting and detox properties.
Chikoo Milk Drink: This drink is the easiest and you only need three things for this. For this, put chikoo, milk and sugar in a blender and prepare a shake. This milkshake can keep you and your stomach happy.
