Food plays an important role it affects our health in different ways. Our body reacts differently to different types of foods and this could impact your digestion, body weight, and sleep.  The time of food takes also affect your health.  The issues such as gas, acidity, acid reflux, heartburn, disturbed sleep, weight gain etc our sometimes because of the food item we eat during night. It is extremely important to consume a healthy dinner at the right time. Here are food items you need to avoid to lead a healthy wife.

Spicy and Fried foods: Try to avoid deep-fried foods like chicken popcorn, and deep-fried paneer among others, as they can lead to acid reflux in the body. Also tried to have food with little quantity of spice.

Alcohol: People usually drink alcohol at night but it affect your body affect badly. It may seem like a few beers, a couple of glasses of wine or a nightcap help you fall asleep. There are  some reasons not to drink alcohol, especially in excess, before going to bed. Alcohol probably does help you doze off, but it interrupts the natural sleep cycle later on during the night.

Food with a large amount of water: Drinking plenty of water is an important part of staying healthy, but you want to avoid getting a full bladder in the middle of the night. As going to bathroom at night is quite disturbing. It is best to steer clear of foods with high water content, including nutritious ones.  Avoid food likes celery, watermelon, and cucumbers.

High Sugar Contents:   Having sweet food items cause dental problems.  Items like chocolates contain a small amount of caffeine resulting in disturbed or difficulty in sleep. That is why you should avoid overly sugary snacks which can cause your blood sugar to spike, then crash. Sugary cereals, desserts, and candy are not good nighttime treats for this reason.

Acidic Food:  The main cause of gas and heat burn related problem is food.  Foods that are difficult to digest and contain a lot of fiber may cause painful gas. Pressure and cramping caused by too much dried fruit, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts can keep you up late.
