‘Period’, the most painful time in every girl’s life which she has to face every month.

It’s absolutely natural to need for sweet treats when you’re on your period. But before you bender away, we want you to know that the food you eat does affect your body and your mood amid this hormonal time.

So, avoid these five foods if you want happy and healthy mentally problem!

1. Avoid eating ice-creams: It is a dairy product, so obviously it’s high in fats. It will not only worsen swelling but also exacerbates inflammation which can cause severe cramping.

2. Avoid fried and the salty foods:This could lead to bloating and water retention. Every time you crave for something fried and salty, keep a bowl of nuts in front of you and beat the insist on the healthy way

3.Avoid Sugar : While, I know you love sugar but sugar is inflammatory in nature and is known to increase cramping. It will also make you feel grumpy and lethargic later on.

4 . Avoid  fatty meats :Unless you want to experience pain, bloating and breakouts, you can continue to eat meat. You see, the fat in meat contains arachidonic acid that causes the uterus to contract. Try vegetarian food in its place. Salads and sabzi should be your diet during your periods.

5. Avoid  fluffy baked food:Donuts, cakes, brownies and cookies, are the ultimate comfort foods indeed, but not so comforting during our periods. Since they’re packed with trans-fats, they elevate the estrogen level. This causes pain in the uterus and leads to bloating.
